As we usher in a new year, I am delighted to announce some important changes to the Journal of Atrial Fibrillation (JAFIB). First and foremost, the Journal has been renamed as Journal of Atrial Fibrillation and Electrophysiology (JAFIB-EP). This change reflects the true nature of the work being published in JAFIB-EP that covers a broader range of arrhythmia issues, but also reflects the importance of atrial fibrillation and the beginnings of our Journal. In addition to the change in name, we are delighted to announce new sections that will be published periodically by the Journal.
