Affiliation: Dr. John Clark from Akron Children’s Hospital is an Associate Professor of Medicine at North Eastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. He is a pediatric cardiac electrophysiologist and the director of the pediatric arrhythmia center at Akron Children’s Hospital. He has more than 15 years of work experience in pediatric electrophysiology. Dr. Clark is among the first in the world to perform a fluoroless ablation and he continues to advocate for a zero fluoroscopy approach, having completed more than 500 pediatric ablations without the use of fluoroscopy. His research interests encompass innovative advances and strategies related to zero fluoroscopy ablations including procedures in complex congenital heart patients and pregnancy.

Affiliation: John Somberg is currently a Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology at Rush University in Chicago. He also serves as Chief the Division of Clinical Pharmacology and the Director of the Masters in Clinical Research Program at Rush University. Dr. Somberg is the Editor of the American Therapeutics and has served for 14 years on the Circulatory Device Advisory Panel with the FDA. Dr. Somberg completed a cardiology fellowship at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, Harvard Medical School, ran the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at Albert Einstein and was the Chief of Cardiology at the Chicago Medical School prior to his current position. His areas of specialization are anti-arrhythmic pharmacology and drug and device development.
Affiliation: He is an IBHRE certified cardiac device specialist and a University Research Lecturer and British Heart Foundation Intermediate Fellow at the University of Oxford, UK. In addition to clinical research, he runs a basic science research program into the autonomic control of cardiac excitability and arrhythmias supported by the British Heart Foundation.

He was appointed as a director of the intensive coronary cardiac care unit at 1995 at the Soroka University Medical Center, a 1000-bed tertiary care and university hospital, affiliated with the Ben-Gurion University. At 1996-97 he was a visiting professor at the cardiovascular division at Stanford University where he had training in IVUS (Paul Yock) and passively participated in the research group of John Cook).
Affiliation: Dr. Fontaine is Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine and Director of the Arrhythmia Services. He attained an M.B.A. in the specialty of Healthcare management from the Lebow College of Business and is a life-time member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society (Summa cum Laude). He served on the Clinical Trials Review Committee and the Electrical Signaling and Ion transport and Arrhythmia study section at the NIH; and also holds ad hoc positions on the editorial board of several journals and is a manuscript reviewer for several peer-review journals. Among his professional interests are cardiac resynchronization therapy, risk stratification of patients for sudden cardiac arrest and the evaluation and management of patients with syncope. He is active in the performance of device implantation and complex ablation procedures.
Affiliation: Dr. Salvatore Rosanio joined the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC), Fort Worth, TX in December 2012 as Professor of Medicine and as Attending Cardiologist at John Peter Smith Hospital and Columbia Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Rosanio has authored and co-authored significant research contributions in the fields of stress echocardiography, invasive cardiology, electrophysiology and cardiac pacing published by the top journals in the field, such as Circulation, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine.
