He had been Professor of Medicine at Columbia University for more than a decade during which time he was responsible for training more than 20 electrophysiology fellows. He has published more than 170 peer-reviewed papers and more than 40 book chapters. Dr. Steinberg has served in numerous executive positions in a host of large scale multicenter clinical trials. His current research interests focus on atrial fibrillation and design of randomized clinical trials of advanced or innovative ablation techniques.
Affiliation: Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and clinical electrophysiologist/investigator with interests that include atrial fibrillation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator therapy. Dr. Hsu received his advanced subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) where he also completed his general cardiology fellowship. He received internal medicine training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
