He has a specific clinical interest in cardiac critical care and postoperative management of children and adults with congenital heart disease. Rohit also has a strong interest in the epidemiology of adult and pediatric cardiovascular disease and is extensively published in these areas.
Affiliation: Rohit Malhotra is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Cardiology Division at the University of Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree at Swarthmore College. He attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed cardiology and electrophysiology training at the University of Virginia. He treats patients with atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and ventricular tachycardia.
