In the year 2010, he was honored with Simon Dack Award for Outstanding Scholarship from the American College of Cardiology, USA.

Dr. Wongcharoen’s research interests include atrial tachyarrhythmias and cardiac devices. She is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
