Affiliation: Dr. Vishnumurthy Shushrutha Hedna is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine and is a key member of the only comprehensive stroke program in North Central Florida, USA. His research interests include brain edema management after stroke, stroke in the young, role of neuroinflammation in stroke, atrial fibrillation and its relation to stroke, CT perfusion in stroke mimics and outcomes after stroke endovascular therapy. He also plays a dual role as associate program director for both neurology residency and vascular neurology fellowship at University of Florida.
