Affiliation: He is a senior health economist in the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He joined the CDC in 1995 as an economist after his postdoctoral work in economics of food safety and nutrient intake for two years at the University of Georgia. Since 2008, he has been leading research projects in economics of heart disease and stroke prevention by developing and implementing research agenda on all matters related to the analyses and collection of economic data relevant to CDC’s goals.
